This is a members-only + invited guest event. 

Celebrate a year of connections and community at the 2025 Yellow Springs Chamber Annual Holiday Party! This year’s theme is Emerald & Evergreen, so don your greenest holiday attire and get ready for an evening of festive cheer, refreshments, and meaningful connections with fellow Chamber members and partners.

Time: 6pm-8pm

Attire: Emerald & Evergreen (Green)


Each guest is asked to bring two special items:

1. A gift on behalf of your business, such as a basket, gift card, or other item, labeled and ready for presentation 

2. A bag of non-perishable goods to be donated to the Yellow Springs Community Food Pantry, helping give forward in the spirit of the season.

Guests will also have the chance to participate in a 50/50 raffle at the door, with proceeds supporting a local food insecurity initiative.

NON-PERISHABLE RECOMMENDATATIONS

High-Need Food Items

  • Cooking oils (vegetable, canola, olive)
  • Protein-rich foods (canned chicken, tuna, salmon, beef stew, chili)
  • Shelf-stable milk (boxed or powdered)
  • Low-sodium or no-salt-added canned goods
  • Gluten-free or allergen-friendly foods (GF pasta, almond milk, nut-free snacks)
  • Whole-grain products (brown rice, whole-wheat pasta)
  • Hearty soups and stews
  • Canned fruit in juice (not syrup)
  • Spices & seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, cinnamon, etc.)
  • Instant meals (rice/pasta bowls, microwavable meals)

Essential Non-Food Items (rarely donated but highly needed)
Pantries cannot use SNAP funds to purchase these, making them especially important:

  • Toothpaste & toothbrushes
  • Shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash
  • Deodorant
  • Feminine hygiene products (pads preferred over tampons)
  • Baby wipes & diapers (especially larger sizes)
  • Toilet paper & tissues
  • Laundry detergent
  • Dish soap & household cleaners
  • Reusable shopping bags

Specialty Items That Go a Long Way

  • Coffee & tea
  • Small bottles of spices or seasoning packets
  • Cooking basics (flour, sugar, baking powder)
  • Culturally important foods (rice noodles, tortillas, beans, lentils, sauces)
  • Healthy snacks for kids (granola bars, fruit cups, crackers)
